Paris from Marne-la-Vallée means the A4 and nothing else, which makes it a journey that lives or dies by the clock. At 6am, allow thirty-five minutes to Place de la Bastille. At 8.30am the same run can take an hour and a quarter. We take that into account when we set the departure time, rather than noting the delay once we are on the périphérique.
The Eiffel Tower and the Champ-de-Mars, the Louvre and the Palais-Royal, the Champs-Élysées, Montmartre, Le Marais, the Opéra Garnier, the Musée d'Orsay, Porte de Versailles for trade fairs, Paris Expo Villepinte for the exhibitions in the north.
The fixed fares of €56 and €65 between Paris and Roissy, quoted everywhere, apply only between the airport and Paris proper, and only to Paris taxis. They have nothing to do with a journey to Marne-la-Vallée, which is charged on the mileage rate. It is a common confusion, and it explains a good many unpleasant surprises on arrival for those who do not know.
