Our fares, and how they are worked out

Our fares rest on the per-kilometre rate of the approved meter in zone B: €2.63 per kilometre, with a minimum pick-up charge of €30 covering the first ten kilometres. On that basis we quote a firm flat fare before departure, worked out on the real distance: €99 for the 38 kilometres between Val d'Europe and Roissy. That fare never exceeds what the meter would show on arrival, and it is the fare you pay, whatever the traffic.

What the price includes

• The whole vehicle, up to four passengers and their luggage (eight in the van, at no change in the rate).
• Tolls and fuel, including on the long runs such as Beauvais.
• Flight tracking and the waiting time caused by a delayed aircraft, with no time limit.
• Meet and greet in arrivals with a name board, and help loading the luggage.
• Child seats and booster seats, provided free of charge on request.

What can be added

The regulated night, Sunday and bank holiday supplements, set by the Seine-et-Marne prefectoral order, apply as they do to any taxi journey. They are announced when you book, never discovered on arrival. A car by the day with extended waiting is covered by a fixed price agreed in advance.

Why our prices sit slightly below the market

Because we are based in the area, not in Paris. A Paris taxi driving out to collect a customer in Serris charges for that approach; our cars are parked five minutes away. We pass that structural saving on to the published price rather than pocket it: that is the only reason we sit below the Paris market on these journeys.

An honest comparison with the alternatives

The RER remains unbeatable for a lone traveller with light luggage: some ten euros against €99. For two with suitcases the gap narrows appreciably. At four the taxi becomes cheaper, faster and free of the change at Châtelet. Against a private hire car, the comparison depends on the hour: our fare is fixed where theirs follows demand, and the gap turns spectacular on a fireworks night at Disneyland.
